Overview
QLM Search is working with a global food business undergoing a significant transformation of its procurement and finance systems. As part of this change, we are looking to appoint a Procurement Director to lead the design and implementation of an S/4HANA-enabled Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution across multiple regions.
This role will take ownership of the global P2P workstream, ensuring alignment between procurement operations, finance, and SAP technical teams. You’ll be responsible for shaping the process design, embedding best practice, and ensuring the system is set up to support both control and efficiency in procurement. You’ll work closely with site and group teams to ensure strong adoption and lasting change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement track of the global S/4HANA programme, focusing on end-to-end P2P.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and site-level procurement teams to map current processes, identify gaps, and design future-state workflows.
- Act as the key link between procurement and SAP integrators to ensure that business needs are correctly built into the system.
- Support training, change management, and go-live activity across global sites.
- Drive consistency and compliance across supplier onboarding, ordering, approval, and payment processes.
- Ensure project milestones are met on time, and that risks are managed and mitigated effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience leading procurement transformation programmes within large, complex manufacturing businesses.
- Deep understanding of indirect and/or direct procurement in a P2P context.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, and experience working alongside global implementation teams.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-site environments with varying maturity levels.
- Strong communicator, able to bring clarity to cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.
- Available for global travel and flexible working across time zones.
