Overview
A global, publicly listed organisation FMCG Group is seeking a Senior Vice President of Information Technology to lead its enterprise-wide technology agenda. This newly created role will report at Group Executive level and provide strategic oversight of IT across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Shared Services. The successful candidate will shape and execute a multi-year technology roadmap that underpins business transformation, digital enablement and operational excellence across a complex international footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the global IT strategy for back and middle-office functions, aligning with the organisation’s transformation agenda and growth ambitions.
- Oversee ERP (SAP S/4HANA) and enterprise applications across Finance, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain, ensuring integration, compliance, and business value delivery.
- Drive excellence in Shared Services IT, including workflow automation, data management, analytics, and service delivery.
- Partner with the CFO, CHRO, and Group functional leaders to enable efficient, standardised processes that scale globally.
- Lead enterprise data, reporting, and analytics capability, providing executives with actionable insights and performance dashboards.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity, governance, and compliance across all corporate systems, in line with international regulatory requirements.
- Develop and mentor a global IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and service excellence.
- Manage multi-million-dollar IT budgets, ensuring effective prioritisation, ROI, and alignment with business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record at SVP/VP IT or CIO level within a global, matrixed organisation in the consumer goods, food & beverage, or manufacturing sectors.
- Deep expertise in SAP (ECC / S4HANA) and enterprise application leadership across finance, HR, and supply chain domains.
- Demonstrable experience leading large-scale transformation programs, including ERP migration, digital enablement, and process harmonisation.
- Strong understanding of shared services models, automation, and data analytics platforms (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).
- Experienced in IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Inspirational leader, capable of building and developing diverse international teams.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to partner at C-Suite and Board level to deliver measurable business outcomes.
