Operations Director

QLM is partnering with a vertically integrated food manufacturing and consumer business with ambitious plans to accelerate growth and value creation through transformation of manufacturing and supply chain performance.

We are seeking an experienced Plant Director / Operations Director to lead operations across a multi-site North American manufacturing network.

Reporting directly to the Executive Team, the Operations Director will have full responsibility for Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Planning, driving performance and capability across the organisation.

This is a high-impact Operations Director opportunity with a clear mandate to deliver a step-change in productivity, yield, customer service, operational discipline, and leadership effectiveness while building a high-performance team and culture that provides the platform for future growth.

This role requires a hands-on, commercially minded Operations Director / Plant Director who can balance strategic leadership with operational execution.

• Senior manufacturing leadership experience within food, ingredients, consumer products, or related process industries.
• Proven experience as an Operations Director / Plant Director within a multi-site or large scale / complex site for manufacturing.
• Strong operational excellence capability with a track record of improving productivity, yield, service levels, and cost performance.
• Ability to develop your team, strengthen organisational capability, and drive sustainable cultural change.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to partner effectively with innovation, sales, and customer teams to develop and commercialise new solutions.
• Broad understanding of supply chain, procurement, planning, and end-to-end operational management principles.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, performance management, and operational transformation initiatives.
